Living Delta's Hub to host session at EGU 2023.

The Living Delta's Hub is hosting a session (NH11.3: Delta Estuarine Risk and Resilience in Changing Climate) at the European Geoscience Union (EGU) General Assembly 2023 in Vienna, Austria, on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

The session will be convened by Indrajit Pal, Mashfiqus Salehin, Qiuhua Liang, Anirban Mukhopadhyay and Neshma Tuladhar as well as Mohammad Heidarzadeh and Jens Ehn. The session has received several abstracts with diverse research areas encompassing technical and social sciences like multi-hazards, risk assessment, modeling, livelihood, socio-cultural aspects, gender, and other aspects of delta studies.

Out of the total submissions received, three individuals have been awarded the Early Career Scientist's Travel Support with the Fee waiver for EGU participation registration and financial support.

The session will conclude with a Discussion addressing the cross-cutting issues of the Living Deltas: socio-ecological system, biodiversity, risk, resilience, youth futures, intergenerational learning, sustainability, and others.

The AIT team will be participating in the EGU 2023 in person. Everyone is invited and welcome to join our session, and discussion and contribute to our continuous effort of sharing, learning and striving for better.
