The UKRI GCRF Research Hubs will play a leading role in
international development research and promote the dignity
and prosperity for some of the most disadvantaged and hardest
to reach people on our planet.

Voluntary National Reviews

Voluntary national reviews (VNRs), are an important innovation as a United Nations process for follow up to the adoption of development agendas.

‚ÄčVNRs help countries address the three key cross-cutting issues of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development:

  • leaving no one behind
  • addressing trade-offs through policy integration
  • pursuing global partnership as means of implementation

While the VNRs already contain many interesting examples as basis for mutual learning and sharing, the UKRI GCRF Living Deltas Hub aims to foster more explicit discussions on strategies for their implementation in our partner countries.
